Florida's Voluntary Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program
Free, high quality, voluntary pre-kindergarten program for 4 year olds (beginning fall 2005).

This is a great new program that was passed by voters in 2002 to be made available by the fall of 2005. This program comes as a relief to many parents faced with finding affordable, high quality Pre-K education. The program is voluntary and provides parents a 3 or 6-hour day of pre-school for children who are eligible to begin Kindergarten the following school year. Public, private, child care center and faith-based schools that meet the criteria may participate but the program is optional. PreApplications now available. Parents   -   Providers
