Madison County, Florida
Madison County was named in honor of it's founding
father James Madison in 1827. Madison County is located in the Florida Panhandle
bordering the northern town of Valdosta, Georgia and approximately 60
miles east of Tallahassee. Madison County is mostly rural with small
towns and nature all around. Forests, rolling hills, rivers, lakes and
springs offer lots of recreation for the nature lover.
