South Florida Museum

South Florida Museum, Bishop Planetarium, and Parker Aquarium are located in downtown Bradenton, in Manatee County. The aquarium houses Manatee County's official mascot, Snooty the Manatee and the brand new state-of-the-art planetarium recently opened in July. South Florida Museum contains a great deal of local history, and has been standing for over 50 years.
