Ocean Mystery & Legend

Bermuda Triangle
The triangular-shaped area in the Atlantic Ocean that extends from the southern Florida coastline to Bermuda to Puerto Rico is commonly known as the Bermuda Triangle. There have been numerous "mysterious" occurrences in this region, including disappearances of both ships and aircraft and bizarre compass malfunctions. number of strange events and disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle? You decide..

The Lost Continent of Atlantis
Plato described the Lost Continent of Atlantis around 370 b.c. in his work 'Critias', which has fueled debate ever since. Plato claimed to have gathered his information from stories passed down through his family that originated with the Greek ruler Solon, who supposedly heard about Atlantis during a visit to Egypt around 590-565 b.c..According to Plato, Atlantis was a large island continent in the Atlantic, west
of the Mediterranean. Atlantis was populated by a technologically advanced race, and was destroyed in a single day and a single night as punishment by the gods for the complacency and arrogance of its people and leaders. Even now, it is hard to dissect the intertwining of the myths and the history of what may have been an advanced civilization somewhere in the Atlantic (or somewhere else) around 9000 b.c..

The Philadelphia Experiment
On October 28, 1943, did a US navy experiment in electromagnetic camouflage
based on Einstein's Unified Field Theory cause a ship and its crew to dematerialize at sea and reappear a short time later? (There was a sci-fi movie by the same name based on this legend.) Was there a cover-up by the US Navy when their experiment to protect their ships in WWII went awry, or is it all just a hoax?
