Educational organizations in Florida exists for educators, parents and students to have the opportunity to take advantage of resources and information pertaining to education in the state. They also provide opportunities to connect to educational institution on higher level than otherwise.

The mission of the Association of Independent Schools of Florida is to maintain the highest educational, ethical and professional standards among member schools for the benefit of the children of Florida. We affirm that our goal is educational excellence. To this end, we accredit member schools according to strict standards and provide organizational and pedagogical services to schools and teachers − including workshops, training and participation on school evaluation teams, and an annual teaching & school leadership conference, as well as informational publications.

FAAE has united educators, artists, community leaders, concerned citizens, arts education organizations, arts institutions and corporate partners to ensure Florida’s students a complete education that includes the arts. Through the arts, the quality of life for all Floridians is improved and enhanced. Programs and opportunities of Florida Alliance for Arts Education reach all corners of the state and touch thousands of lives each year as they bring schools and communities together to improve, enhance and promote arts education.


Non-profit organization committed to the development of education that will prepare both young and adult Floridians for successful careers. FACTE is the only organization in the state of Florida that is solely dedicated to representing the interests of career and technical educators.  

FAME provides leadership and support to school librarians through advocacy on the local, state, and national levels; targeted professional development; and promotion of literacy and technology-integration initiatives resulting in student success from effective school library programs.

FATE was established to focus attention on theatre arts as an essential part of the curriculum and a component in the education of every young person. FATE advocates that every Florida student be educated in theatre and dramatic arts by qualified theatre arts educators.

FASA's mission is to support administrators in providing high-quality education to the students of Florida through advocacy, leadership, and professional development. FASA is the second largest and fastest growing-education association in the state and has a membership of nearly 5,000 superintendents, principals, assistant principals and district-level administrators. 

The mission of the Florida Association of Teacher Educators is to improve the effectiveness of teacher education through leadership in the development of quality programs to prepare teachers, by analyzing issues and practices relating to professional development, and by providing opportunities for personal and professional growth of Association members.

Driven by a passion for educational excellence, the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS) works to both set the standards and advance the quality of independent private school education in the State of Florida. FCIS represents over 73,000 students in 157 member schools. Founded in 1954, it is one of only 10 state associations in the U.S. whose accreditation process has been recognized by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). 

FEA is proud of its role as the preeminent voice of public education in Florida. Our members are professionals who work in our schools with Florida’s students on a daily basis. Our members include public school employees: teachers and support professionals, higher education faculty, retirees and students seeking degrees in education. 

The mission of the Florida Music Education Association (FMEA) is to promote quality, comprehensive music education for all Florida Students as a part of their complete education. FMEA is a not-for-profit, professional association that serves and supports music education across Florida.

PEN believes that teachers are professionals and deserve to be treated as such. PEN is not a labor union. We are a professional organization for the professional educator. 

Step Up For Students is a state-approved nonprofit scholarship funding organization that helps administer two scholarships for Florida schoolchildren: the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program (FTC) for low-income families and the Gardiner Scholarship (PLSA) for children with certain special needs.
