Henderson Beach State Park

Henderson Beach State Park  has something in store for everyone! From a nature trail to sandy white beaches, Henderson Beach State Park is a must for those who love the beach and nature in general.

The lovely state park of Henderson Beach State Park was purchased in 1983 and opened to the public in March 1991. Highway 98 once ran through what is now preserved dunes and natural beachfront. The highway was moved in 1990 to allow the preservation of the areas coastal habitats.

Since opening, Henderson Beach State Park has been a place where individuals and families can go to relax and share the natural Florida coastline and habitats. The boardwalk to the beach crosses the dunes and offers views of the dunes and the wildlife that are protected and kept pristine.

The wide open beachfront features the soft crystal white sands and warm emerald green waters of the Gulf.

Henderson Beach State Park also offers 60 campsites which provide water, electricity, picnic tables, ground grills, and clotheslines. As well as heated and air-conditioned restrooms with showers, coin operated washers, dryers, and vending machines.
