De Leon Springs, Florida

Though it is home to about 2,000 residents, the majority of De Leon Springs is made up by De Leon Springs State Park. The park covers 611 acres of Volusia County, and is built around a natural sulfur spring, which flows at a rate of about 20 million gallons a day. It protects many animals such as alligators, white-tailed deer, turtles, and otters, as well as several bird species, including the American bald eagle.
