City of Fernandina Beach, Florida

Fernandina Beach is a city in Nassau County on Amelia Island. It is the northernmost city on Florida’s Atlantic coast. Other than its 13 miles of pristine beautiful beaches, calm waters, and lively downtown area, Fernandina Beach is popularly known as the “Isle of 8 Flag”. This is because Fernandina Beach has had the flags of numerous nations flown over it since 1562. Interestingly enough, it is the only municipality in the United States that has flown eight different national flags.
