Florida Council of Independent Schools

Driven by a passion for educational excellence, the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS) works to both set the standards and advance the quality of independent private school education in the State of Florida. FCIS represents over 73,000 students in 157 member schools. Founded in 1954, it is one of only 10 state associations in the U.S. whose accreditation process has been recognized by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).
