Pat Thomas Park at Hopkins Landing

Pat Thomas is a great location to find a variety of recreational activities. This is a big camping spot, so bring your stakes and maybe an RV to spend the night off the lake listening to the sounds of nature. Lake Talquin

This beautiful lake is a superlative spot for freshwater fishing. Largemouth bass, striped bass, speckled perch, bream, and catfish can be caught off the boardwalk or dock here. With 10,000 acres to roam, kayaks and canoes will find plenty of space to paddle amidst the pristine waters. For celebrations and other outings, the pavilions, picnic tables, and grills will make for a great place to have an outdoor meal. There is also an interpretive trail on site that overlooks ravines. Sports in the City of Quincy

Younger outdoor seekers will find many sports programs to enroll in in the city of Quincy. Youth tackle football, flag football, cheerleading, baseball, basketball, T-ball, coach pitch softball, machine pitch softball, and baseball programs are all available.
