Loggerhead Marinelife Center
Loggerhead Marinelife Center was originally founded in 1983 as the Children's Museum of Juno Beach formed by longtime turtle activist Eleanor Fletcher aka "The Turtle Lady". This non-profit education and ocean conservation facility includes exhibits, educational programs, and is dedicated to protecting Sea Turtles.
The mission of the the Loggerhead Marinelife Center is to promote conservation of ocean ecosystems with a special focus on threatened and endangered sea turtles. The facility houses a variety of exhibits, live sea turtles and other coastal creatures. Exhibits include a massive prehistoric Archelon sea turtle replica, salt water aquaria and displays of local wildlife, as well as educational displays about South Florida’s marine environment.
