Osceola County Parks and Recreation

Cherokee Point

Osceola County is committed to offering quality parks and recreation experiences to offer a “great place to play.” Some of the key places where visitors and residents can play are the Austin-Tindall Regional Park and Soccer Complex, the Ralph V. Chisholm Regional Park, and the Cherokee Point Conservation Area.

Austin-Tindall Regional Park and Soccer Complex

The Austin-Tindall Regional Park and Soccer Complex offers world-class playing facilities and is located just minutes from the Orlando International Airport (MCO). A Premier Soccer Facility, 5 regulation and 3 practice fields are available for play, plus 5 additional fields which will be added in the 2018 Complex expansion. The complex also offers surfaces for football, field hockey, rugby, lacrosse, archery, and basketball. Locker rooms, concession stands, 1,500 seater seating, and parking for 500 vehicles are all available as well. The complex is located at 4100 Boggy Creek Road Kissimmee, FL 34744.

Ralph V. Chisholm Regional Park

The Ralph V. Chisholm Regional Park features an alluring waterfront which encourages picnicking and sunbathing along its shoreline. For those looking for a bit more action, the Battle of Narcoossee Mill Civil War Reenactment replays that local battle with all the gunpowder and historical reminiscing every year in March. Two miles of hiking and equestrian trails lie within the grounds of the park. The park is located at 4700 Chisholm Park Trail, St. Cloud, FL 34771.

Cherokee Point Conservation Area

Wildlife and nature oriented visitors to Osceola County will be intrigued by the Cherokee Point Conservation Area which was purchased in 2012 with funds from the Environmental Lands Conservation Program. 183 acres of picturesque land hug the shores of lake Tohopekaliga, near the area of Goblet’s cove. Here, native fowl like bald eagles, sandhill cranes, limpkin, white pelicans, and the endangered everglades snail kite abound. Come see this natural splendor in your kayak or canoe or while walking on the boardwalk or hiking trails. Visit the park at 2501 Cherokee Road St. Cloud, FL 34772.

Offering more than 40 different parks and recreational services, Osceola County Parks and Recreational Services gives plenty of reason to go outside and enjoy what it has to offer.
