This park has more than enough for everyone to enjoy. Visit the 111 acre, world class Jim Brandon Equestrian Center, home to beauty and competition amongst horse enthusiasts. The Okeeheelee golf course provides 27 holes of competitive golf for all levels of play. Hands-on exhibits are hosted at the center along with up close and personal animal encounters. Exhibits featuring birds of prey like owls and reptiles like slithering snakes invite inquisitive minds to learn more about the natural habitats of Florida wildlife. Baseball games are also featured on its 5 fields. In addition, the park offers 4 softball fields, 8 tennis courts, and a court for volleyball for sports lovers. 8 miles of walking paths are great for land recreation, while docks and boat ramps invite aquatic enjoyment. A BMX track resides on site for some a more extreme form of recreation.

Radio-Controlled Excursions

Take your RC airplane, car, boat, helicopter, or other vehicle to a variety of locations to enjoy these unique facilities. The West Delray regional park and Dyer Park host this fun form of outdoor recreation, which often requires permits prior to racing. The Palm Beach Radio Control Association flies at Delray’s 600 foot paved and grass runways. PBRCA requires all flyers to join the association prior to flying here and must be within good standing with the Academy of Model Aeronautics. The PBRCA offers free flying lessons to any members who wish to hone their skills.
