Kenansville is an unincorporated community located in Osceola County, Florida that is listed as a ghost town. The town was founded in the late 1800's when the Flagler Railroad ran through nearby. The town was named in honor of Henry Flagler's third wife Mary Lily Kenan. The old hotel, "Heartbreak Hotel", is rumored to be the hotel that inspired Elvis Presley's hit song. The town now consists mostly of farmers and cattlemen.
