NSA Orlando Patrick AFB is a U.S, Navy training center in Orlando, Florida. It is home to the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD). It’s official website states that “NAWCTSD Orlando is the Navy’s principal center for modeling, simulation and training systems technologies. The Center provides training systems development for a wide spectrum of military programs, including aircraft, surface ships, submarines and other specialized requirements.”

Park and Seventh is a woodworking company located at the corner of the streets that have lent the company its name. Owned and operated by husband and wife duo, Michael and Amanda, Park and Seventh Woodwork's creations range from custom-built tables, to unique wall-art, to complete restaurant and barroom renovations. 

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is a water theme park located at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista in Orlando, Florida. It is one of two operating water parks at the resort and features a Surf Pool and the largest wave pool in North America. 

The exciting new Universal’s Volcano Bay™ water park opened in the Summer of 2017 featuring an all new concept in water parks with a gigantic volcano as it's central theme. The Krakatau™, the mighty Fire and Water Volcano towers 200 feet above the tropical landscape, streaming waterfalls during the day and fiery lava effects at night.

Wet 'n Wild opened in 1977, and is considered to be the first major standalone water park. After 40 years of being one of the top water parks, the park closed on December 31, 2016. Universal Studios purchased the park with plans to renovate. Universal opened Volcano Bay Water park nearby and has not revealed the future for the Wet 'n Wild land.

The I-Ride Trolley is a trolley service servicing the I-Drive area and Universal Boulevard. Tickets are decently priced, and are available for one ride, and daily or weekly unlimited passes so you can ride and transfer lines all day. It's a great way to see all the attractions in the area and a great way to get from one area of I-Drive to another quickly and easily. Take a break from walking in the Florida heat and ride the trolley down I-Drive!

The IceHouse Theater is a community theater in Mount Dora that has been putting on shows since 1949. The current theater they perform in was completed in 1958. They preform many shows on their main stage including both shows and musicals. They also have a youth theater program for kids and teens of all ages.

Icon Park is essentially a downtown area of I-Drive. It offers attractions like the Wheel at Icon Park, the Orlando StarFlyer, and several indoor attractions like Madame Tussauds and the SEALife Aquarium. It also conveniently has several dining and shopping locations as well. Shake Shack, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Outback are some of the chain restaurants at Icon Park but they also have several smaller and locally owned eateries available. Kelly started scooping ice cream as a part-time job, but years later it inspired her to generate her own dairy creations. Kelly, her husband, and her daughter started serving these treats from a food truck. Now they have two additional store fronts and event catering options. King Cajun Crawfish is a a taste of Louisiana with a twist. Founded in 2010, this crawfish restaurant mixes classic Louisiana dishes with Vietnamese flavors. They call it Viet-Cajun. The Lake Concert Band is a non-profit organization founded in 1989. The band started with 12 members and has grown to its current size of over 70 volunteer musicians, performing at numerous concerts, events, and parades since its founding. Musicians range in age from high school to senior citizens and the band is open to anyone who is able to read music, owns their own instrument, and passes an informal evaluation by the band's director. 

The Lake Concert Band has a mission of providing a quality musical experience to the community and performs throughout the year, including holidays. Since 1995, the Lake County Museum of Art has served as an art center, community center, and nonprofit organization. Established in 1937 as an art colony, the Maitland Art Center currently offers contemporary art exhibitions, residency programs for professional artists, and various art curriculum. The Messiah Choral Society is a non-profit organization founded over 40 years ago as a choral group for all singers to be able to participate in. Through outreach and "creative collaboration", the Messiah Choral Society works to increase awareness of the various cultural and artistic offerings available throughout Central Florida. They work with local cultural organizations and historical societies to bring continued awareness to these options and events. 

The Messiah Choral Society is open to new singers and members and encourages anyone interested in participating to fill out a registration form. Rehearsals start in September and run until the concert held in mid-November. If you're unable to sing but still wish to be involved, you can apply to be an associate member and help with behind-the-scenes setup and support! The Metropolitan Area Youth Symphony offers six orchestral groups for all levels of students throughout the Central Florida area. They have one location in Orlando and one in Lake County so their orchestras are accessible to students all over the area.

Orange Blossom Brewing Company is an Orlando based brand that is synonymous with its flagship beer and former name Orange Blossom Pilsner or OBP. Originally started as a home brew, the company operates out of Brew Hub in Lakeland and has a wide range of distribution. Although it doesn't have a taproom, the company has made a name for itself as it offers some of the most Floridian beers on the market. 

The Orange County Regional History Center is the best place to learn about the history of this region. It has exhibits that follow the history of Florida through its natural places, indigenous people, first contact by Spanish explorers, it's position as an early tourism destination, and more. Temporary exhibitions, educational programs, and events make this a great place to come back to again and again.

This is the only public course designed by Arnold Palmer. Designed with two distinct playing experiences, this 7,000-yard course offers Scottish-style golf on the front nine and the Carolinas on the back nine.

The Orlando Ballet is Central Florida's premier professional dance company. They have a season every year consisting of 5 ballets that are performed at the Doctor Phillip's Center. In addition to their professional company, they also have a ballet school for young dancers and several programs to help underprivileged kids have access to dance training as well. 

 Their beers became the first to be declared ‘Fresh from Florida’ and in 2006 they were certified as an organic brewery, making them the only U.S.D.A. certified organic brewery east of Colorado. Through various outreach programs and support, the Society has made a positive impact on their community and continues to bring awareness to the impact that music education can have. 

The Society has two groups for singers: a non-auditioned Garden Choir for participants of any skill level, and Voci del Cuore, which requires an audition. The groups do travel for performances, including out of the country, making the Orlando Choral Society an amazing opportunity to connect with others and have travel experiences. The Orlando Concert Band is a professional-level auditioned band of musicians with the mission to "celebrate and preserve America’s musical heritage". It has been entertaining the people of Central Florida since 1989.

The Orlando Fashion Square Mall is one of the area's smaller malls. It does have many stores worth checking out, including some discount shops that are sure to help you find the best deals. It also has a Premier Cinema 18, where you can watch all the latest films.

The Orlando Gay Chorus (OGC) is one of the country's largest mixed LGBT+ choir groups, consisting of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and straight ally singers. Their mission and vision is to inspire others and use music to change attitudes and build a stronger community to make the world a better place. Founded as a non-profit organization in 1990, the OGC has a full chorus as well as four smaller ensembles and performs at concerts, cabarets, community events, and private events. 

The OGC has performed at Orlando PRIDE, held a memorial for the victims of Pulse, sung the National Anthem at various sporting events, performed at the GALA Choruses Festival, and participated in many other events and festivals honoring the LGBT+ community. They now have over 100 members in the chorus and continue to grow in size each year while hosting various community outreach events. Be sure to follow their Facebook for event and show updates. 

The Orlando Jazz Orchestra is a group of musicians that play jazz standards from the Swing Era all the way through to today. The band is made up of the best musicians in the local area who perform sold out shows all around the state.

The Orlando Science Center is the perfect place to learn all about science, especially for kids of all ages! It has interactive exhibits that allow children to experience their lessons in a hands-on way. This includes exhibits about dinosaurs, nature, and the planet as well as a flight lab and an observatory. The Orlando Science Center is also a great place to host a child's birthday party or a wedding.

Orlando Steppers Connection offers Chicago Steppin' and R&B Soul Line Dance lessons and workshops. Workshops are offered twice a week, with private lessons available. There's a minimal cover charge, and separate groups depending on skill level. Chicago Steppin is described as a soulful ballroom dance, performed to soul, R&B, and jazz music. Soul line dance is line dancing and doesn't need a partner to be performed or enjoyed. The "Electric Slide" and "Wobble" are two popular soul line dances and are just a couple of examples of what is taught by the Steppers.

Bring a date or a group of friends and come out for a fun night of funky soul dancing and learn a new dance that you can start at your next party! With weekly lessons and fun events throughout the year, the Orlando Steppers Connection is a fun and exciting way to connect with people while getting in rhythm with yourself. Orlando Swing Dance is Orlando's most popular swing dance group. On the first Saturday of each month, come out to Orlando Swing Dance for a fun night of throwback music and dancing! Don't know how to swing or lindy bop? Don't worry about it--they have a dance lesson about an hour before the open dance session begins. Taught by a rotating list of dance instructors, you'll learn the basic steps, spins, and styles of various swing dances. While most of the dances feature a DJ-spun playlist, at different times during the year they will feature a live band that plays a variety of current and throwback music.

There is a minimal cover charge for the dance, but there's no limit on age or amount of people you can bring, so this is perfect for either a romantic date night or a fun night out with friends. If you'd rather learn by yourself, that's perfectly fine too! There's no partner required. There's no dress code, just dress comfortably and bring shoes you can dance and spin in. Depending on the month, they'll host themed dances--Valentine's Day, Christmas, and New Year's are big events. If you've always wanted to learn to swing dance, or even if you're just looking for something different this month, Orlando Swing Dance is a fun way to learn a new skill and connect with a variety of people. The Orlando Symphony Orchestra is a professional orchestra in Central Florida with full time professional musicians. They perform all different kinds of music for the community throughout the year.

Orlando Vintage Clothing & Costume offers a wide variety of true vintage and retro clothing, dating from the 1890s to the 1980s. They list their items online as well for those unable to visit the store in person. Orlando Vintage offers purchase and rental options, and has rented clothing out for feature films, TV shows, and theater plays. Mad Men, Men in Black III, and American Gangster are just a few of the productions that have used outfits provided by Orlando Vintage!

In addition to the pieces they offer for everyday wear, they also provide costumes such as mascots, pirates, flappers, and superhero costumes for rental purposes. Scarves, shoes, wigs, jewelry, purses, and other accessories are available for purchase as well in order to complete your entire look! Orlandough Craft Donuts in Winter Park creates donuts and other specalitity treats, such as cakes. Orlandough is unique because it offers customizable and themed vegan, vegan flourless, flourless, and other donut options. Birthday parties, weddings, and other events can be catered by Orlandough. 

Osceola Arts is the center for all things arts in Osceola county both in the performing arts and the visual arts. They offer art classes for people of all ages and showcase local art in their three gallery spaces. They also put on concerts and a fun filled theater season for patrons to experience all kinds of performing arts as well.

The Osceola Community Orchestra is an all-volunteer orchestra located in Osceola County, Florida. Their musicians range in age from middle school to retiree and they welcome anyone who's passionate about playing and is able to read sheet music. They don't require an audition to play, but check out their website or send them an email if you're interested!

The Oviedo Mall is a small mall in the Orlando area that is a center for the local community. It has a Regal Cinemas movie theater, tons of fun activities for both adults and kids, and events of all kinds throughout the year.

The Oviedo Winter Springs chamber is an action-oriented organization dedicated to serving the needs of the businesses within the Oviedo and Winter Springs communities. 

Palmetto Landing is an assisted living facility that offers residents the independence to fully enjoy an active and engaging lifestyle while providing the personal care that assists in the areas they need. Pammie's Sammies is a sandwich shop with a homemade taste. All menu items are recipes that founder Pam grew up with. But that does not mean the dishes here are simple. At Pammie's, they pride themselves on serving up unexpected flavors. Try their turkey and brie or their grilled chicken mango sandwiches. In addition to sandwiches, Pammie's also offers flatbreads, wraps, soups, and salads. If you're not in the mood for lunch, breakfast is served all day.

One of the oldest dog park in Central Florida that features art in dog form and water areas for animals to roam around in.

Pawmosa Dog Park features an acre of shaded area for pups to run around in. Two areas for small and bigger dogs so it is a safe place for all to visit and enjoy. 

Performing Arts Matter (previously Performing Arts Maitland), or PAM, is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the Maitland community establish and maintain its cultural identity through the arts and music. Included in this umbrella organization are the Maitland Symphony Orchestra, the Maitland Poets and Writers, and the Maitland Stage Band. PAM offers groups for people of all ages, such as the Maitland Youth Community Choir for younger performers and the Creative Arts for Life for older adults that still want to contribute to their community.

PAM not only hosts several concerts, shows, and other events throughout the year, but also host a variety of outreach events as well as performing at the Maitland Farmers Market each week. To stay informed on events and other news, follow their Facebook or check out their website. 

Are you looking to try something different? This Peruvian style food truck might be what you're looking for! They have won several awards including 2017 Best Food Truck "Orlando Sentinel Foodie Award" and 2017 Best Latin "Orlando Sentinel Foodie Award".  

Right off of John Young Parkway and Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway is PG's, one of the best local wing places in Kissimmee. They offer a pretty well-rounded menu, with hamburgers, sandwiches, and a kids' menu, as well as their one-of-a-kind wings. They offer 15 different sauces ranging from mild to super hot to lemon pepper to garlic and much more and are available as traditional or boneless style. They have a wide range of sandwich options if you're looking for something other than wings and they have a few vegetarian options as well!

With an array of imported wines for every budget and occasion, the wine cellar is a local staple for everything from weekly wine tastings to learn more about the history of wine, to sharing your favorite bottle through an intimate private event with friends and family. Stop in the grab a sample, or take the bottle with you!

Pig Floyd is a piglet friendly eatery with meat on the mind. But they serve it up in ways that everyone can appreciate. They have the basic sandwich but they also serve tacos, bento box, and platters sure enough to leave you satisfied after each visit. Piglets have their choice of pork or chicken, sandwich or tenders. the only thing on the menu guaranteed to not add more to your waistline is the price. 

Puerto Rican chef, Thomas Ward, was well known for his successful food truck before opening this barbecue joint in Mills. As a town favorite, Pig Floyd’s is often crowded, but worth the wait. Choose from sandwiches, tacos, or platters.

But once you try their pizza, you'll swear you'll never eat at a chain pizza place again. PR's palace is a very nicely decorated Tex-Mex restaurant. The interior design of the place brings the Mexican atmosphere for sure. They offer a range of different Mexican inspired dishes, the best part about it? It's very budget friendly. If you are in the area of College Park and craving some tacos or enchiladas, this is the place you need to check out.

Quantum Leap Winery is a local place that aims to find environmentally friendly ways to sell wine to consumers and markets. They want to reinvent the way wine is shipped and share the best ways to do that. 

This is the hidden gem for all pizza lovers out there (even you guys who add pineapple to pizza). Ragazzi's pizza is founded and operated by 2 brothers who share the passion for food and specifically Italian pizza. The 2 brothers learned from their grandmother who lived in a small village that the secret for a good meal is fresh ingredients. The owners are very careful with their ingredient choices, assuring that the ingredients must be fresh and supporting the local businesses as much as possible. Ragazzi's pizza takes pride in the many things they prepare from scratch as bread, soups, and desserts. Ragazzi's pizza is a perfect example that maintaining the ingredients to the highest quality is the way to go and there's no surprise how good the prepared food is.

Margherita Pizza

Since the 1940s AM 790 has been playing country music and broadcasting news important to the local community. This stations supports local artists, businesses, and civic groups. 

Real Radio plays alternative rock music and has personalities that will always keep it real with their listeners. From contests, to podcasts the Monsters on Real Radio will keep you updated. 

Red Cypress Brewery is located in Winter Garden and offers a unique selection of craft beers. It hosts a variety of events, ranging from food truck Fridays to a Namaste and Drink day in which patrons can do yoga and drink beer. You can find many of their selections in grocery stores and bottle shops around the state. 

Every member of the staff is beer-sever certified through the Cicerone Certification Program. They boast twenty-four draft handles, two traditional hand-pumped beer engines, over three hundred bottled beers, and a fine collection of craft sodas.

Retromended Vintage is one of the best spots in Orlando to find true vintage clothing from the 1920s to the 2000s. Dresses, shirts, bottoms, shoes, and other accessories are all available at this quaint one stop shop. If you're unable to visit the store in person, they also list some of their available pieces online at their website. Retromended also hosts a variety of local vendors and events showcasing clothing and accessories that are either vintage or handmade, but guaranteed unique.

One way that Retromended ensures that these vintage pieces are ready to wear and acceptable for modern tastes is by altering them via in-house seamstresses. Changing buttons or adjusting sleeves and hemlines are common alterations, while keeping the charm and quality of the vintage piece. The SAK Comedy Lab is Florida's most prolific improv comedy theater. It has several notable alumni who have gone on to have great careers in comedy, so you know you're going to get a professional grade show. It's a great way to have a night out in Orlando, especially for adults. They also offer classes for adults and teenagers to learn improv and stand-up comedy.

Listen to Salsa 98.1 to hear upbeat salsa music. This radio station is hosted in Spanish with Diana and Jr. on weekday mornings, La Lobita 10am - 3pm, and JJ in the evening.

Phoenix Tears productions is one of the shining pillars in interactive theatre. Every month they perform a series of short plays written by local writers and cast from local actors and directors. These shows usually only last a couple minutes, but every show has multiple performances, sometimes with a special local musician to spice things up.

Alongside this, they perform interactive, audience participation plays, where the audience quite literally becomes a part of the production. An audience member may walk directly up to an actor and ask them questions, and they will find out new information that nobody else knows. Every one of their interactive shows features a main character who is murdered, then the audience has to decide who did it.
