Swimming in Florida

There is no place in the country better for swimming than Florida. Year-round warm and sunny weather means that there's never a bad time to be in a pool. Many Olympic swimmers have trained in Florida, and some of the best college swim teams are located here.

The International Swimming Hall of Fame is home to a Museum, Library, and Archive which contain the world's largest collection of aquatic memorabilia and aquatic books, manuscripts, and literature. Between the Swimming Hall of Fame and the associate museum is the Aquatic Complex open to swimmers with Olympic-styled pools as well as a diving well and a small warm-up pool. Swim in the pools at the center of aquatic sports champions and legends.

The only pool recognized as a historic landmark. Enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear spring waters fed into the pool daily for a refreshing natural swim. Explore the grottos of a Venetian-styled Pool while taking in the Medieval Resurrection architecture. Most of the coral is the original rock coral from when the pool was a quarry!
