Fun ways to celebrate Independence Day in Florida
With some of the best beaches on both coasts, Florida’s fireworks displays are unmatched around the country. You will amazing displays all up and down both coasts. If the beach isn’t your thing, there are parks and city events close to every town. And of course, with the plethora of attractions in Florida, you’ll find some amazing fireworks there as well.
Northwest Florida / Panhandle
Panama City Beach Star Spangled Spectacular – Boasting one of the largest fireworks displays on the Gulf Coast as fireworks are fired from the identical City Pier and County Pier. And if you get there early, check out the Freedom Rocks! Fireworks hosted by the Grand Lagoon Coalition on July 3rd. Panama City Beach also kicks off their summer Music Concert Series that continues weekends through August.
Downtown Apalachicola Independence Eve Celebration – This is a celebration at Riverfront Park featuring great food, entertainment and a stunning fireworks display over the Apalachicola River.
Pensacola 4th of July Celebration – This is the best place to see fireworks in the city of Pensacola, featuring the one of the best fireworks displays anywhere around.
Miramar Beach Sandestin Celebrations – Miramar Beach has two great celebrations sponsored by the Sandestin resorts: Red White and Baytowne, and the July 4th BBQ at Sandestin
Navarre Beach Hometown 4th of July – In Navarre you will find a great fireworks show in addition to other fun activities like a picnic in the park featuring local food trucks and a children’s parade
Northeast Florida
St. Augustine’s 4th of July celebration – Celebrate our great nation in one of its oldest cities here in historic Saint Augustine. This celebration features a live music concert and a spectacular fireworks display for your enjoyment.
