Rock the Park is a kids friendly event perfect for the whole family. Both parks offer spectacular views of the fireworks show over Lake Henderson.

This event celebrates the famous $450 million dollar treasure discovery in the water's of Key West by Mel Fisher. It includes VIP tours of the Fisher Family’s Private Conservation Laboratory, a Schooner Wharf Bar Dock Party, and Treasure Hunting Boat Tours. 100% of all net proceeds from these events will benefit Wesley House Family Services, Inc.

Shark-Con is an event dedicated to raising awareness about shark and ocean conservation. This is the place to be if you love the ocean with a huge interactive exhibit from presenting sponsor The Florida Aquarium which includes games, trivia, and a shark tooth sand dig as well as exhibits from Busch Gardens and Clearwater Aquarium. 

July 13 - 14, 2019

Location: Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, Coral Gables, Florida

This is South Florida's chance to celebrate tropical fruits that do not usually get any recognition. It features the Mangos of Haiti and so many other tropical fruits that are hard to find anywhere else. Plus you will find mango and fruit trees for sale, classes on how to grow them, cooking demonstrations, mango tastings,  vendors with food and garden-related products, live music, activities for kids and so much more!

One of the largest kingfish tournaments, includes live entertainment, food festival and much more.

Famed author, Ernest Hemingway called Key West home for many years. The island celebrates his legacy each year on his birthday with look alike contests, prose and poetry readings, the “Running of the Bulls”, symposium presentations, a museum exhibit, and a three-day marlin tournament!

July 26 - 28, 2019

Location: Stuart Park, Lake Placid, Florida

A caladium is a plant of the jack-in-the pulpit family known for its brilliant colors and large leaf shapes. This festival celebrates the plant as well as so much more of what this area has to offer. Check out its car show, Floral Arrangement Competition, Art & Craft booths, and so much more!

This is one of the only ballet festivals in the country! It is a great way to see artists from all over the world perform in some of Miami's best venues.

Local place for both Vegans and people who eat meat. As seen on the Dancing Avocados Kitchen's website, it states this is where they come to eat in harmony.
