Town of Havana, Florida

Havana is a North Florida town located north of Tallahassee and just south of the Georgia border. Tobacco was once the main source of income, so the town was named Havana after the capital of Cuba in the hopes that cigars made by tobacco grown in Havana would be just as desirable as Cuban cigars. Today the tobacco fields are gone and Havana is considered a suburb of Tallahassee.
