City of Lake Worth, Florida

Lake Worth is a city in Palm Beach County, Florida. The City takes its name from the body of water along its eastern border, originally called “Lake Worth”, now commonly referred to as Lake Worth Lagoon. Lake Worth’s beach offers plenty of open space and a recently built Casino that has received a great deal of fanfare. As for Lake Worth’s downtown area, it is considered the artistic soul of Lake Worth with a historic theater and a museum, live music clubs, coffee houses and much, much more.

The Braille and Talking Book Library is a library dedicated to providing reading materials to blind and visually impaired residents. Its headquarters is located in Daytona and it has nine subregional locations in Coca, Ft. Myers, Ft. Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Clearwater, Miami, Orlando, Pensacola, and Lake Worth to serve residents throughout the state.
