Miami Beach is a city of barrier islands between mainland Florida and the Atlantic Ocean. It is separated from Miami by the Biscayne Bay. Miami Beach has become known world-wide as a land of excess, where some of the world’s richest and most beautiful people are often spotted on the beach or in the nightclubs of South Beach. It is also known for the signature art deco architecture, the largest collection of it in the world, which can be found in the Art Deco District.
