Mulberry is a city in Polk County, Florida. Mulberry's genesis is interesting to say the least. The 100 year old city started out sparsely settled and forested with longleaf yellow pine trees. It wasn’t until the discovery of phosphate that the city emerged as an industrial powerhouse. Now the city is bustling with tons of residents and businesses. Mulberry is also home to the 335 acre Alafia River Reserve, which serves as a State Park where folks can enjoy numerous hiking and bicycling trails as well as observe nature’s beauty.
