City of Niceville, Florida

Niceville is a city in Okaloosa County, Florida. Before the city got its more congenial name, it was called “Boggy”. Though Niceville evolved from the name Boggy, the name Boggy is still alive in the tradition of the town as is the case with the Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival held annually. During this event residents and visitors alike can enjoy seafood, art, and music. It is the pivotal celebration for Niceville. More obvious than not is the city’s atmosphere of friendly folks. This town really does try to live up to its name!
