City of North Miami, Florida

North Miami is a suburban city in northeast Miami-Dade County, Florida. Originally the town of "Arch Creek", the area was reincorporated as the “City of North Miami” in 1953. The city is home to the Oleta River State Park, which is the largest urban park in the Florida State Park system. The park adjoins Miami’s two college campuses: the Biscayne Bay Campus of Florida and International University. In the downtown area of North Miami, folks can frequent tons of colorful shops and eateries. For art enthusiasts, there is the Museum of Contemporary Art. Also, who can forget about the wide beaches lining the city’s oceanfront. Furthermore, after a day of soaking up the sun, folks can enjoy the nightlife Ocean Drive has to offer.
