Titusville is a city in Brevard County, Florida and is located on the Indian River, west of Merritt Island. Home to the John F. Kennedy Space Center, Titusville attracts many tourists interested in Aeronautics and the space program. The association with the space program led to the city’s two nicknames in the 1960s: Space City USA and Miracle City. Titusville also caters to those folks who are interested in wildlife observation. Marina Park is a 20.35-acre community riverfront park located North of the Titusville Marina. The park includes many things for recreational activities such as a dock and boat ramp, a skate park, a BMX bike course, a playground, and a dog park. Fishing by the shore along the Indian River is among one of the popular activities at Marina Park. There is something for everyone at this park.

Rotary Riverfront Park is a community park that is located by the Indian River Lagoon in Titusville, Florida. The park consists of a playground, pavilion, lookout deck, & fishing pier.

St. Johns National Wildlife Refuge is a part of the United States National Wildlife Refuge System. Established in 1971, it is a 6,255 acre piece if land that was set aside to protect the dusky seaside sparrow. Unfortunately, the species was declared extinct in 1990, but the area is still filled with other sorts of birds and animals such as the indigo snake, American alligator, and crested caracara. Make sure to call before taking a trip to St. Johns National Wildlife Refuge because the land is sometimes closed off to the public for a variety of reasons.

Veterans Memorial Fishing Pier is a 5-acre, 2 pier landscape that connects North Titusville to Merritt Island. It gives people access to the Indian River Lagoon, which makes it a good area for fishing, crabbing, and shrimping. Also a great place for walks and watching the rocket launches. Pier 220 Sea Food and Grill restaurant are located at this site if one gets an unexpected appetite as well.

Stop by the country's first law enforcement museum and memorial to see over 1100 exhibits and a large collection of police artifacts. You can also enjoy their state-of-the-art shooting center, so you can train just like the law enforcement officers. 

The American Space Museum and Space Walk of Fame is a museum in Titusville, Florida, that serves to preserve the history of the U.S Space program. One can find many unique things on display in their exhibit halls such as space suits, aircraft parts, active launch consoles, and much more. Some of the galleries are dedicated to previous space projects that include Mercury, Apollo, and Gemini. Canaveral Marshes Conservation Trailhead is a trail in Titusville, Florida. It is teaming with wildlife habitats and several outdoor ventures such as boating, kayaking, and fishing. The property was bought in order to protect the St. Johns River floodplains. Wild alligator and wading birds are common sights for people who go boating. If planned accordingly, a day in these trails will be an enjoyable experience for everyone. 

Capt. Chris Myers is an expert saltwater fishing guide located in the world famous Mosquito Lagoon. He offers his clients the opportunity to stalk big game fish in just inches of water. He specializes in sight fishing and is only an hour drive away from Disney and the Orlando area. 

Dicerandra Scrub Sanctuary is a 44 acre preserve that protects marshes and wildlife. There is a one mile hiking trail that circles the sanctuary for people who wish to explore the premise. 

Dixie Crossroads is a local restaurant in Titusville, Florida, that has been providing excellent service and quality food in the community since 1983. They have a variety of dishes that include, but are not limited to, ocean caught seafood, chicken, steaks, and salads. But one of the biggest claims to fame for the brewing company is co-owner and head brewer Ron Raike, a 30-year veteran in the craft beer world. An 18,000 foot jump is what you will experience at the Skydive Space Center in Titusville, Florida.
