Founded in 1975, the Crealdé School of Art has worked to bring hands-on art experiences to the community and people of Central Florida. It provides comprehensive art instruction, interaction with professional artists, gallery exhibitions, lectures, various activities and events, and outreach programs all in an effort to promote the arts, diversity, and the preservation of cultural heritage. The exhibitions, although changing, all provide some form of education for the visitors to the school, and are free to view. The school also has an outdoor Contemporary Sculpture Garden available for viewing with over 60 pieces of outdoor art and educational panels.
The school offers a variety of classes including painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, glass, and photography, and offers several workshops throughout the year for these art mediums as well. For more information or to enroll in a class, visit the Crealdé School's website. For the latest information on events, classes, or inspiration, check out their Facebook.
