Indian River County

Indian River County is located in Central East Florida bordering the Atlantic Ocean and Brevard, Osceola, Okeechobee and St. Lucie Counties. 

Indian River County was established in 1925 from a portion of St. Lucie County and named for the Indian River.

Indian River School District is established in Vero Beach, Florida. The school district presides over 25 plus schools. The Indian River Public Schools boasts an International Baccalaureate program available in elementary, middle and high school. The district’s public schools are also recognized for their award winning Performing Arts Programs, which set this district apart from many others in the state of Florida.

Special education center school serving students ages 5-22.  To meet the unique needs of our students, we offer four program models: intensive, integrated, behavioral and a transition program.  Our dedicated staff provides instruction that positively impacts student achievement, communication skills, social, emotional and behavioral growth.
