The Addison Blockhouse Historic State Park is home to an historic 19th century plantation that once flourished from 1816 to 1836 until it was burned in the Seminole wars. The Addison Blockhouse lies on the west side of the Tomoka River and is one of the most worthwhile sights in Volusia County.

Avalon State Park is a mile long secluded and undeveloped beach just waiting for your arrival. The beach and dune habitats are home to many rare Florida species, including many species of sea turtles that use the non populated beach as a nesting place during the spring and summer months. Come prepared to enjoy a day of swimming, snorkeling, or fishing on the beach, or simply come and relax under the sun. 

Situated along St. John's River, there's quite a few treasures at Blue Spring State Park. Swimming, diving, snorkeling, and tubing are just a few of the water activities that can be done at Blue Spring State Park. What makes this state park so unique, though, is the ability to see some manatees in their natural habitat. Before the park was established in 1970, researchers found there was only a small number of the sea cows, less than 20. But after 2018 and careful protection efforts, there are now around 485 gentle sea creatures that call Blue Spring their home. Guests can also canoe or kayak, renting these at the park if they wish, or they can take a guided river boat cruise if walking 4.5 miles on Pine Island Trail seems a bit daunting. Bring a picnic and enjoy the day at Blue Spring State Park. 

This three thousand acre site preserves the largest amount of standing scrub in all of St Lucie County, and it holds more than twenty miles of trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. You can spot wildlife in the observation deck, like hogs, alligators, red-shoulder hawks, and meadowlarks. Some of the natural views found here are the bay-gall swamps, scrubby and pine flatwoods, as well as prairie hammocks. It was primarily used as a hunting retreat back in the 30's, and now, Bluefield Ranch Preserve is a wonderful experience for those looking to enjoy nature.

A 470-acre forest that was the first property ever bought by the Brevard County EEL program as part of a sanctuary network to preserve a diversity of habitats. Wildlife observation, nature photography, and hiking across several miles of trails are among the popular activities that visitors can partake in their visit at Brevard County Enchanted Forest Sanctuary. 

Bulow Creek State Park is home to one of the largest live oak trees in the South. For over 400 years, it has stood silent to humankind's activities. There are trails where visitors can walk or run. Most often, wildlife will be near the edge of the wooded areas. Animals that are most commonly seen are white tailed deer, barred owls, and raccoons, among others. The Bulow Woods Trail is nearly seven miles long and leads the way to Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic Site Park. Pavilions stand on the grounds for guests to have picnics and restroom facilities are available for those who need them.

Canaveral National Seashore is one of Florida’s most absolutely gorgeous and untouched natural habitats. It is one of few places in the state where visibility of one of Florida’s swamps is combined with the view of one of Florida’s most beautiful beaches. The park consists of two entrances both of which provide access to amazing beaches and the parks Mosquito Lagoon.

The First Data Field is a baseball stadium located in Port St Lucie that is home to the St Lucie Mets and Gulf Coast Mets. It is also the spring training location for the New York Mets, and it holds over seven thousand people in the stadium during game time. It was originally built in 1988, and occasionally, the field will also hosts events like the St Lucie County Safety Festival.

Fort Pierce Inlet State Park is a beautiful park with a half-mile beach where citizens can surf, snorkel, swim, or scuba-dive. Fishing, picnicking, sight-seeing, and bicycling are other common activities. 

If you're looking for an unforgettable natural escape, look no further! Witness the breathtaking hammocks, flatwoods, marshes, swamps, and much more as you paddle board along the blackwater creek of Haw Creek Preserve all the way to Crescent Lake. Try to spot the native wildlife on your tour, and see why anglers call the swamps a prime fishing location. You can also help employees fulfill the Florida State Parks' mission and learn about the park's fascinating history and origin during your stay, but don't forget to keep an eye out for the moss hung cypress trees. They're quite the tourist attraction.

Spanning over 1600 acres, the Hontoon Island State Park is home to all different types of Florida wildlife ranging from warblers to limpkins to kingfishers. In addition to the vast variety of wildlife the Hontoon Island State Park is a place that offers primitive camping, boating, bicycling, paddling, and more. 

The Indian River Lagoon Preserve is home to one of the most protected wetlands and salt marshes in Florida, giving visitors a chance to see breathtaking landscapes brimming with diverse wildlife and native exotic plants. This hidden gem has been designated an Outstanding Florida Water and is revered as one of North America’s Estuaries of National Significance.

Marina Park is a 20.35-acre community riverfront park located North of the Titusville Marina. The park includes many things for recreational activities such as a dock and boat ramp, a skate park, a BMX bike course, a playground, and a dog park. Fishing by the shore along the Indian River is among one of the popular activities at Marina Park. There is something for everyone at this park. 

The Myakka River State Park is a beautiful park with more amenities and activities than most other parks in Florida. Visitors can take advantage of the Myakka River by fishing, boating, and paddling. Likewise, visitors can also camp on site and use the laundry, shower station, picnic pavilion, campfire circles, and more. 

At North Peninsula State Park you can enjoy an afternoon at the beach, swimming in the Atlantic Ocean or searching for wildlife such as sea turtles or an array of fish. Almost at 3 miles long, North Peninsula State Park offers picnic pavillians and a two mile long hike where visitors can see creatures such as indigo snakes and gopher tortoises. Whether you're looking for a nice relaxing trail, or to just bask in the sun, North Peninsula State Park is a perfect family beach spot.

Numerous gnarled branches of century-old oaks blanket this verdan pocket of nature at Oak Hammock Park, providing cool shade for a sunny day of nature walking. For those with aquatic inclinations, the park has two fishing piers, one having a fish cleaning station and a floating dock that grants access to the lake for boating and canoeing. Make sure to bring your children and dogs, this park has playground and is dog friendly!

Located on the Space Coast of Florida, Patrick AFB lies directly south of Cape Canaveral and Cape Kennedy. Orlando and its attractions are about an hour drive west.

Ponce de Leon Springs State Park is named for Juan Ponce de León, the Spanish explorer who led the first expedition to Florida in 1513 on a quest to find the "fountain of youth.” Many come to visit the parks large natural springs, citing it as have healing and refreshing effects. The main spring, a convergence of two underground bodies of water, produces 14 million gallons of water daily and maintains a temperature of 68° year round. The park also offers two nature trails that guide visitors through a longleaf pine habitat, home to florida wildlife such as manatees, alligators, white tailed deer, otters, and bald eagles. Picnicking, swimming, and hiking are amongst the most popular activities at the park. It is also home to the Old Spanish Sugar Mill, a popular attraction to both tourists and locals, where guests buy the batter and topping to cook their own pancakes right on their dining table! De Leon Springs offers a rich history and is sure to be an amazing experience for the whole family, whether you’re from out of town or just down the road.

Rotary Riverfront Park is a community park that is located by the Indian River Lagoon in Titusville, Florida. The park consists of a playground, pavilion, lookout deck, & fishing pier.

There are quite a few amenities and activities to enjoy at the Savannas Preserve State Park like horseback riding, canoeing or kayaking, bicycling, and fishing. There are different nature trails, launches, interpretive exhibits, and picnic pavilions. The Environmental Education Center even provides interactive programs and special classes that are available to people of all ages to learn more about the history and culture of the state park.

The habitats in Seabranch Preserve State Park were formed by ancient oceans over the course of many years. Rare sand pine scrub, baygall communities, a mangrove swamp, and scrubby flatwoods can be seen by the visitors all within a mile from each other. A trail that extends for over 4 miles is available for visitors to hike and witness all of the wildlife that Seabranch Preserve State Park has to offer. Picnic areas are also available for visitors. There are future plans to develop this park in order to make it more enticing to visitors. 

At Sebastion Inlet State Park, you can spend your well-deserved day in the sun - camping, fishing, swimming, shell collecting, observing nature, kayaking, and more! For those seeking to cool off with an indoor experience, there are two museums nearby detailing the history of the surrounding area.

If you're interested in learning more about Port St Lucie's history, The Spruce Bluff Preserve is a great place to experience it! There are two trails detailing the early pioneer settlement along the St. Lucie River. Significant sites are the Native American mound and pioneer cemetery along your trail. There is a lot to observe, and hiking and canoeing is available to those interested in the natural experience!

St. Johns National Wildlife Refuge is a part of the United States National Wildlife Refuge System. Established in 1971, it is a 6,255 acre piece if land that was set aside to protect the dusky seaside sparrow. Unfortunately, the species was declared extinct in 1990, but the area is still filled with other sorts of birds and animals such as the indigo snake, American alligator, and crested caracara. Make sure to call before taking a trip to St. Johns National Wildlife Refuge because the land is sometimes closed off to the public for a variety of reasons. 

St. Lucie Inlet Preserve State Park is a barrier island that is only accessible by boat. Visitors enjoy the boardwalk that takes them through the mangrove forests and hammocks of live oaks, cabbage palms, paradise trees, and wild limes. One can find animals such as loggerheads, leatherback, and green turtles. Some of the popular activities at St. Lucie Inlet Preserve State Park include swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, surf fishing, and picnicking. 

The St. Sebastian River Preserve State Park in Fellsmere is a great spot to go kayaking. You can even bring your pets! Some of the amenities on site include a boat ramp, canoe kayak launch, equestrian trails, and a visitor center.

Seeking to identify the birds of Florida? At Tomoka State Park there have been over 160 species found in the skies and in the trees! Non-bird enthusiasts can fish for Snooks and Red Fish from the pier or a canoe. 

Veterans Memorial Fishing Pier is a 5-acre, 2 pier landscape that connects North Titusville to Merritt Island. It gives people access to the Indian River Lagoon, which makes it a good area for fishing, crabbing, and shrimping. Also a great place for walks and watching the rocket launches. Pier 220 Sea Food and Grill restaurant are located at this site if one gets an unexpected appetite as well.

1971 Roasters and Coffee Bar is a tea and coffee shop open every day from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Port St Lucie. They serve drinks hot, cold, and frozen, and their current drink menu is listed with pricing on their website. The American Space Museum and Space Walk of Fame is a museum in Titusville, Florida, that serves to preserve the history of the U.S Space program. One can find many unique things on display in their exhibit halls such as space suits, aircraft parts, active launch consoles, and much more. Some of the galleries are dedicated to previous space projects that include Mercury, Apollo, and Gemini. In their walk of fame, one can cruise through the hall as they encounter the names of previous space pioneers who were responsible for making the space program what it is today. The American Space Museum and Space Walk of Fame is appropriate for all ages, as they contain a discovery room for younger children to enjoy.

The property was bought in order to protect the St. Johns River floodplains. Wild alligator and wading birds are common sights for people who go boating. If planned accordingly, a day in these trails will be an enjoyable experience for everyone. 

The Cassadaga hotel is a must stay hotel within the small town of Cassadaga, Florida, for people who believe in the supernatural. Over 40 different aerial activities are offered, so you could walk across rope bridges, ladders, tight rope cables, and a tight wire if you're brave enough.

Located on Daytona Beach, the Boardwalk is full of fun games, cool shops, and exhilarating rides that will take your breath away. The Boardwalk is sometimes known as the "Broadwalk" because of the wide width of the walkway and because it's made of cement instead of wooden boards. It includes two arcades full of games that throw out tickets to the winners so they can get prizes for their earnings. There are two small snack shops that provide your regular fair food like French fries, ice cream, burgers, and pizza. The rides include a Ferris wheel, Slingshot, Tilt-O-Whirl, Go-Carts, and a roller coaster. During the summer months, there are free concerts to enjoy at the Bandshell on the north end of the area. And it's all just steps away from the Daytona Beach, so be sure to bring your swim suit for some fun in the sand. 

The Daytona Escape Room Experience offers six full-length escape rooms, from sixty to seventy five minutes in length, with difficulty ranging from easy to hard. They also have a two minute long escape game that features just two puzzles, fit for one player at a time, but it is nonetheless challenging to beat and doesn't require a reservation. Their other rooms cater to party sizes from two to ten players at a time. If you're seeking a fun night out, this venue has the exciting and challenging memorable experience you're looking for.

Opened in 1959, the Daytona International Speedway is the home of the Daytona 500, which is the most prestigious race in NASCAR history. But it's not just NASCAR that races on the grounds, it's also AMA Superbikes and Motocross, as well as a few others. The lake on the infield of the track has hosted powerboat racing in the past, so it's more than just cars here at the Daytona International Speedway. The cool thing about the racetrack is even if there is no race happening, visitors are still allowed to go in and tour the track. It's a huge area with seating for more than 100,000 fans. With multiple layouts and tracks, it's the perfect place for racers of all kinds to check out. 

Dicerandra Scrub Sanctuary is a 44 acre preserve that protects marshes and wildlife. There is a one mile hiking trail that circles the sanctuary for people who wish to explore the premise. 

Dixie Crossroads is a local restaurant in Titusville, Florida, that has been providing excellent service and quality food in the community since 1983. They have a variety of dishes that include, but are not limited to, ocean caught seafood, chicken, steaks, and salads. Feed the fishes in the outside pond while waiting to be seated or after filling yourself up with their delicious food. Also, while you're there you might as well try their famous corn fritters!

With the largest selection of margaritas in the Brevard county area, Durango's Steakhouse is one of the best places in town to stop for a drink. They are also known for having the best steaks in the county since, unlike most restaurants, they cook it over an open oak fire grill instead of a flat iron. Stop by Durango's Steakhouse to satisfy your taste buds!

The combination of Mexican and Cuban food has never been better! El Leoncito has multiple locations in Brevard county to provide top of the line food. Their menu has many Cuban and Mexican dishes that one can choose from. Better yet, combine the two dishes to get the best of both worlds! The restaurant brings both Cuban and Mexican cultures to life with their decorations and employee uniforms. A great place to eat and enjoy some Latino heritage.
