Restaurants in The College Park Area Based on Your Budget

Budget friendly, Fancy, Artistic food, breakfast dates

Looking for a restaurant in college park area? We got you.

An outing on Budget (5$-20$)

So, you are around college park and want to chill and have some food but still don’t want to break your bank account? This list is for you, we have included 3 restaurants in the area along with 2 honorable mentions.

When we mention food on a budget, one of the first things that comes into our minds is Tacos. Mexican cuisine is one of the most delicious cuisines out there and the best part about it? It is budget friendly. Our first mention is PR’s Taco Palace, it’s located at 717 W Smith St, Orlando, FL 32804. Once you get inside you will be able to feel the Mexican spirits of cheerfulness and hospitality, the decorations reflect the Mexican side of the restaurant (let’s just say you will be gazing around for the first 5 minutes.) The place offers a wide range of Mexican food that’s customized to please the largest audience (a nice way to say it’s Tex-Mex). We took the task of paying this place a visit and they didn’t disappoint. So, if you are around and craving burritos or tequila? This is the place you want to be.

2. Christos café

Let’s assume you aren’t into Mexican food but still around college park and looking for a quick meal in a traditional American diner? Christos Café is the place you are looking for, they provide a different range of quick American meals including tasty breakfasts. They are located at 1815 Edgewater Dr, Orlando, FL 32804. The great thing about this place is that unlike some diners which have limited working hours, they operate daily until 9 pm except Sundays until 3 pm. So, if traditional American diners are your thing, this would be a great place to try.

3. Ragazzi’s Pizza

Okay, who doesn’t like pizza? If you don’t like pizza, we need to talk. However, to the rest of humanity who enjoy one of the finest Italian creations, you will like this. Ragazzi’s Pizza is a restaurant that was founded and owned by two brothers who shared the enthusiasm and decided to take the responsibility of delivering the experience to everyone around the College Park area. It’s located at 3201 Edgewater Dr, Orlando, FL 32804. The secret to this restaurant’s success other than the brother’s dedication is preparing everything from scratch in their meals. They also use locally sourced ingredients to follow the tradition they adopted from their grandmother. There is a good reason this place is considered the neighborhood’s local pizzeria for the last 12 years; you should figure that reason out.

Money saving warriors:

Shakers American Cafe

We couldn’t skip to the next section without mentioning one of the oldest and most famous cheap eats in the College Park area, Shakers American Café. The cozy diner is located at 1308 Edgewater Dr, Orlando, FL 32804. They provide an exceptional atmosphere as well as amazing breakfast and lunch specials, Gourmet salads, specialty sandwiches, homemade soups, and Quiches. The only tricky part is the opening hours, they operate daily from 6:30am-2:30 pm. So, if you are an early bird, you are in luck

College park café

Okay, one more hidden cheapie gem and we will move on to breaking our wallets. College Park Café is one of those secret agents who get the mission done but you don’t hear that much about them, they don’t even have a website! The place is at 2304 Edgewater Dr, Orlando, FL 32804. We recommend this place for a family atmosphere type of breakfast OR/AND breakfast date (who doesn’t like those??). Their specialty changes along the week but their amazing homemade soup and deli sandwiches are there as long as you are there. So, the best meal for the money provided by a place that has been there for almost 50 years and the same owners for 17 years? Yaaaaaaahs.

Let’s have a drink while we eat quality food (20$-40$)

Now it’s the beginning of the month and our bank accounts are heavier than usual, and we shall not rest until we achieve the equilibrium in the universe, so here are 3 moderately expensive restaurants to accommodate our fancy needs.

  1. RusTeak

Rusteak and Wine is owned and managed by two professionals who graduated from The Culinary Institute of America, Brian Buttner and Jonathan Canonaco. The restaurant is established as a new American restaurant with a fancy touch, the menu contains of a range of handcrafted burgers, steaks, sandwiches, seafood, and pasta. Rusteak is also notorious as one of the best spots for wine as they feature a large collection of wines from all over the globe. You can find different types of craft beers and cocktails that are on seasonal rotation. A very interesting aspect of the restaurant is the changing menu, the reason behind this is to keep the focus on local produce and sustainable fishing. The restaurant is located at 2625 Edgewater Dr, Orlando, FL 32804, and don’t forget happy hour is daily from 4 pm to 7 pm.

  1. Armando’s College Park

Now is the time where we talk about high level Italian restaurant. Armando’s College Park is located at 2305 Edgewater Dr, Orlando, FL 32804. The restaurant aims to provide an authentic Italian experience, and when we say that we are referring to high quality pizza. Because they understand that wine and pizza love each other, the restaurant offers a wide range of wines and cocktails. Armando’s offers both an inside and an outside dining option, in both cases you will certainly feel the inviting warm atmosphere.

  1. SOCO

This one is a very interesting concept restaurant; Southern Contemporary offers the experience of having traditional, timeless southern classics with the excitement and touch of modernization. The restaurant location at the intersection of Central Boulevard and Summerlin Avenue along with the urban interior design definitely add to the modern vibe of the restaurant. Whether you were aiming at the fried chicken or the pork chops, SOCO won’t disappoint you. You can visit Soco at 629 E Central Blvd, Orlando, FL 32801.

The Art of Food

If you reached this section, congratulations, you are one true food connoisseur. At this point food and preparation aren’t just a way to consume calories and stay alive, now food can take some artistic routes. We have got exactly the restaurant to serve that purpose.

  1. Kadence

Kadence is one of the best restaurants in Central Florida. Now, we must agree that the way this restaurant works isn’t like most of the things you’ve seen before. Reservations for Kadence are a must, the restaurant usually requires a week ahead of planning to land a booking. Reservations are in the form of an entry ticket to the 9 seat sushi bar; tickets are non-refundable to assure the attendance. The 9 seats on the sushi bar serve as seats in a theatre where the 3 chefs/ performers bring the experience of preparing a multi-course tasting menu. This type of experience is known as Omakase sushi, trusting yourself to the chefs and letting them show you the ways around what they know the most. Served food is constantly changing depending on the fresh ingredients acquired. Kadence is located at 1809 Winter Park Rd, Orlando, FL 32803. The price for dinner at Kadence is 190$ per person, this includes multi-course sushi and sashimi tasting menu showcasing seasonal fish and ingredients from Japan and around the country. For the price, you get the best quality and food experience possible around College Park area or maybe even around Orlando.
