One of the most awe-inspiring attractions at LEGOLAND Florida is Miniland USA, an outdoor exhibit where famous American cities and landmarks come to life, brick by tiny brick. This section is the heart of the park, featuring over 32 million LEGO bricks meticulously assembled to create realistic miniature versions of bustling cityscapes.
With 4 children of different ages (3-12), the 3 younger ones being huge Lego fans, we were excited to explore the park, but we didn’t expect the awe of the Miniland USA!
Miniland USA: A Miniature Marvel
Walking through Miniland USA is like taking a cross-country road trip without leaving Florida. Each city is packed with incredible details, moving elements, and even interactive surprises. This land was truly awe-inspiring as we walked through several times and marveled at the city details.
1. New York City

The skyline of New York City is a showstopper, with LEGO renditions of the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Times Square, and the One World Trade Center. Even the tiny yellow cabs and bustling pedestrians on the LEGO streets make it feel alive. At the push of a button, some scenes even move, like boats floating through the harbor.
2. Washington, D.C.

Fans of American history will love the LEGO Capitol Building, Lincoln Memorial, and the White House. The level of detail in this section is impressive, with tiny presidential motorcades, patriotic displays, and even a LEGO version of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial.
3. Las Vegas

The vibrant Las Vegas Strip is a highlight, featuring miniaturized versions of famous casinos and hotels like the Luxor, MGM Grand, and the Venetian, complete with its iconic canals and gondolas. The tiny neon lights give it an extra touch of magic.
4. Miami & South Beach
The Art Deco district of Miami is recreated with its colorful pastel buildings, palm trees, and beachside vibes. LEGO figures sunbathe on the shore, and classic cars line the streets, capturing the energy of South Beach.
5. NASA’s Kennedy Space Center

This section features a LEGO Space Shuttle on the launchpad, paying tribute to Florida’s space exploration legacy. Occasionally, you can see simulated shuttle launches as part of the interactive experience.
Other LEGO Cities & Special Sections
Beyond Miniland USA, LEGOLAND Florida also features other LEGO-themed lands that resemble bustling cities, including:
- LEGO City – A kid-friendly metropolis where young guests can earn their “driver’s license” at the Ford Driving School, operate LEGO boats at the Boating School, or help put out fires at the Rescue Academy.
- LEGO Kingdoms – A medieval-style city with castles, knights, and dragons, creating a fantasy world inspired by classic LEGO castle sets.
- Pirate’s Cove – A waterfront LEGO city featuring live-action pirate stunt shows on the shores of Lake Eloise.
