After a morning filled with rides and exploring LEGO creations, my kids were more than ready to cool off at the LEGOLAND Florida Water Park. With 4 children of different ages (3-12), I knew we needed a mix of exciting slides, interactive play areas, and gentle water attractions. Thankfully, LEGOLAND’s water park delivered the perfect balance, ensuring that everyone had fun while staying refreshed in the Florida heat.
The moment we walked in, my oldest spotted the Twin Chasers water slides and made a beeline for them. These enclosed tube slides let kids race down side by side, which meant she and my 10-year-old could turn it into a competition. The slides were fast but not too extreme, making them a perfect introduction to the bigger water attractions.
Right next to them was Splash Out, a high-speed slide with three different drop-style chutes. My 12-year-old loved the thrill, but my 7- and 10-year-olds took one look at the steep drop and decided they’d rather stick to the tamer options.

For all my kids, the Joker Soaker was the highlight of the day. This giant, interactive water playground had everything from small slides to water cannons, plus the ultimate kid-favorite, a massive, drenching 1,000-gallon water bucket that tipped over every few minutes. My kids spent at least an hour here, darting between slides and teaming up to spray unsuspecting parents with water shooters (including me!). Even my 3-year-old could splash around in the shallow areas, which made it an ideal spot for all of us to enjoy together.
While the older kids were conquering slides, my toddler found his happy place in DUPLO Splash Safari. This area is specifically designed for little ones, with tiny slides, gentle fountains, and adorable oversized LEGO animals spraying water. He felt completely safe splashing around, and I loved that the water was shallow enough for me to relax while she played independently. It was a great way for him to have his own adventure while his siblings tackled the bigger attractions.

Since my boys are huge Lego fans, the Build-A-Raft River was a favorite! Unlike a typical lazy river, this one had a LEGO twist. Kids collect large, floating LEGO bricks and build their own rafts, and as we drifted along, my boys had an especially good time, determined to stack as many pieces as possible onto our raft before they inevitably floated away. The pace was slow and relaxing, making it a perfect break from the more action-packed areas of the park.

To wrap up our day, we all headed to Wave Pool, where my kids happily splashed in the waves while my toddler and I stuck to the shallow end. The waves were gentle enough that younger kids could play safely, but still fun for older ones who wanted to jump and ride them.
LEGOLAND Florida Water Park turned out to be the perfect way to end our trip. My thrill-seeker had her waterslide adventures, my middle boys got to splash and play for hours, and my toddler had a safe space to enjoy the water without feeling left out. The Joker Soaker and DUPLO Splash Safari were the biggest hits for my younger two, while my oldest couldn’t get enough of Splash Out and Twin Chasers. The Build-A-Raft River was a great way to slow down and enjoy some family time, and the Wave Pool let everyone burn off their last bit of energy before heading home.
For moms planning a visit, I’d definitely recommend bringing water shoes (some of the pavement gets hot!), packing extra sunscreen, and arriving early to grab a shady lounge chair. I also always bring googles when there is a swimming area to make it more fun and protect the eyes.

Also, if you have little ones, life jackets are available for free, which can make you feel more comfortable letting your kids explore the water. Between the variety of attractions and the LEGO-themed fun, the water park was just as magical as the main park itself—only much cooler! ☀️
