Bay County is located in the panhandle in Northwest Florida bordering the Gulf of Mexico. Bay County was establish in 1913 and from portions of Washington, Calhoun and Walton Counties and was named in reference to the area which bordered St. Andrews Bay.

Home to one of the largest coastal dune lakes in Florida, Camp Helen State Park is located in Panama City Beach. This park is 180 acres in size and activities that can be done here include swimming, beachcombing, nature study, hiking, and both freshwater and saltwater fishing. Guests can also learn how to kayak and paddle board if they are feeling adventurous enough. The walking trails for hikers have some great photographic characteristics so be sure to bring your camera if you're into nature photography shots.
NSA Panama City is a U.S. Navy base located between the cities of Panama City and Panama City Beach. It is a base for several commands including the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), the Navy Experimental Diving Unit (NEDU), and the Navy Diving Salvage and Training Center (NDSTC).
Located in Panama City Beach Florida, St. Andrews State Park is a beautiful state park with a mile-and-a-half of pristine beach. Some of its experiences and amenities include biking, boat tours, boating, camping, paddling, fishing, geo-seeking, hiking, picnicking, and many more fun activities!
Tyndall Air Force Base is an advanced fighter base with many types of fighter aircraft including the F-22A Raptor. The base is located in the Florida Panhandle on the Emerald Coast next to Panama City, Florida.

Cobra Adventure Park is a small beachside amusement/entertainment park in Panama City Beach. While it might be small, there's still plenty of things to do, like a pirate themed miniature golf course, a go-kart track where there is double seaters available for smaller children, and several thrill including the Max Flight Simulator, which has been coined the "roller coaster of the future." There's also the Dragon Wagon, which is a kids-only roller coaster and the Vertical Accelerator, which can reach heights of over 160 feet. Don't forget to visit the arcade with all the newest and greatest electronic games.
The Martin Theatre first opened in Panama City 1936 as the "Ritz". The name was changed in the 1950s, and renovations in 1990 restored it to the fully functional theatre it is today. Catch many musical and theatrical performances here throughout the years.
The Northwest Regional Library System serves Bay, Gulf, and Liberty counties in the Florida Panhandle. Bay County libraries are located in Panama City, Panama City Beach, Parker, and Springfield; Gulf County libraries are located in Port St Joe and Wewahitchja; and Liberty County libraries are located in Bristol and Hosford. The headquarters and largest library in the system is the Bay County Public Library in Panama City.
The Panama City Mall is one of the area's best and largest malls. Shop at all kinds of stores to find everything you could need, eat at one of the many dining centers, and catch a movie at the PC Mall Cinemas.
This outdoor shopping center has everything you could need for the perfect day just a block away from the beach. Check out the 120+ stores that make shopping here great. For entertainment, you can go to Dave and Busters, take a ride on the Sky Wheel, and watch a movie at the Grand IMAX theater.
A fantastic outing for the whole family, Race City Amusement Park has the classic fairground rides like paratroopers, Scrambler (also known as the Merry Mixer in some areas), a Tilt-O-Whirl type ride with the carts shaped like bears, and a roller coaster with other rides specifically for smaller children. There is also go-kart tracks, an indoor black light mini golf underwater themed adventure, bumper boats, a mega arcade with all the coolest video games where you can win tickets to pick out some awesome prizes, and a Skycoaster ride, which is similar to a zipline. The only Skycoaster in Panama City Beach, this is the ultimate thrill ride as you fly in a harness, going over 60 miles per hour. You can even share this experience with a friend or two if you want! It's one of the few parks around where you don't even have to pay to park and there's free admission.
This isn’t a normal amusement park with thrilling coasters or family fun rides. WonderWorks is more than 100 hands on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark creativity in the visitor’s imagination. With a couple of different zones that can be explored: natural disasters, physical challenges, light and sounds, space discovery, imagination lab, and far out art gallery, it's hard to be bored here. There is also an indoor ropes challenge, a 4D simulator ride, and a laser tag arena for the kid in all of us. WonderWorks has only six locations in the United States and Florida is lucky to have two of them.
