Pinellas County

Pinellas County is located in Central West Florida bordering the Gulf of Mexico, Tampa Bay, and Pasco and Hillsborough Counties. 

Pinellas County was established in 1911 from a portion of Hillsborough County. The name is derived from Spanish "Punto Pinal", meaning "point of pines."

For over forty years, the OLL Fall Festival has been an integral part of the Dunedin community. Every October, volunteers from our parish and school come together to put up the “big tent” and fill our campus with rides, games, music, laughter, and fun! Dozens of rides cater to children of all ages with a special section of “kiddie rides” for the little ones. This year we are also pleased to announce our “Craft Beer and Sports Tent”

A 10-day Fun 'n Sun Festival to celebrate the famous beaches of Clearwater that features the notorious sand sculpture exhibit from the best sand sculptors around the world, music, entertainment, live concerts, street performers, sand sculpting classes and so much more. Pinellas County Schools was officially formed in Florida in 1912. The district is also famously known for establishing the first adult education program in Florida. This was a result of the influx of returning veterans from WWII who were seeking to complete their education. Today, Pinellas County School District is the seventh-largest district in the state of Florida and the 26th-largest district in the nation containing over 100,000 students.

The Eight O'Clock Theatre is a theatre in Largo, Florida. It is part of the Suncoast Performing Arts Foundation, which supports the arts in Largo and the sun coast.
